We are very fortunate to be partnered with the RB Hull Marathon 2017, Its a profound honour to support this whole heatedly. Its especially humbling considering that this year Kingston upon Hull is the UK city of culture. We feel its going to be one of the iconic events of the year and will really draw attention to the amazing city we are all immensely proud of.

Well it most certainly put’s us in the public lime light at such an important event but also helps deliver our ongoing message about the potential dangers of asthma. As an asthma charity we feel its extremely important to promote sports and activities to all as long as they are carried out in a safe environment and your condition is under control and well managed. Its also a great way to get #TeamCam together our dedicated sport fanatics who year on year put in brave performances at a whole host of events. Its also a fantastic way for the charity to meet the public and discuss any concerns they may have about there asthma or just to simply meet people for a chat, at the heart of any event that a charity does is of course fundraising, whether that’s a company that sponsors you or a family member that makes a small donation to you every little helps.

The Marathon sees runners take a route through the City centre, Victoria Docks, into the East of the city and East Park, past RB, our principal sponsors, a return to the City centre and then the Marina before passing through a working dock, Pickering Park, Hessle, over the Humber Bridge and a return via the Costello Stadium and track, Peter pan Park and into the KCOM Stadium. All finishers will receive a medal, T-shirt and goody bag with ten drinks stations on route and massages available in our event village at the finish. Prizes for the first 5 finishers male and female, 1st and 2nd in all Vet categories from V40 to V80 (male and female) and to the first local male & female*.
